As one of the diabetes specialist at Perinatal Associates of New Mexico, it is my desire to help you be successful in controlling your diabetes while creating a healthier happier mom and baby.

The world is made up of individuals with different needs, desires and beliefs. I respect this and will work closely with you to develop meal plans, exercise programs and if need medication schedules that fit your needs while meeting our goals.

I earned my Bachelors of Nursing Science Degree from the University of New Mexico and my Masters of Nursing Science Degree in Family Practice from the New Mexico branch of the University of St. Francis. I am a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center – ANCC and certified as a Diabetes Educator through the National Certification Board of Diabetes Educators.

I have spent the majority of my nursing career working with individual who have been diagnosed with diabetes. I love providing my expertise to help people live successfully with diabetes be it through a pregnancy or lifelong.
