Amniocentesis is a safe, proven technique that has been used for decades to help provide the best care possible for expecting mothers and their babies. Used for a variety of fetal diagnostic procedures, the test uses ultrasound guidance to ensure the safe removal of amniotic fluid.

As with all testing performed at PANM, you’ll also receive counseling about amniocentesis prior to the test to make sure that you’re comfortable with the process and fully understand the risks, benefits, and limitations involved.
